The Power of Understanding People: The Key to Strengthening Relationships, Increasing Sales, and Enhancing Organizational Performance

Course Description
Developing effective relationships is critical to success and fulfillment in our personal and professional lives. The key to establishing effective relationships lies in understanding the communication styles and needs of others. Participants gain valuable insights into the power of observing others to better understand them. Armed with this knowledge, we can learn to tailor our approach and message in a way that is meaningful to each unique person, and “speak their language”. This new insight will increase your effectiveness in leadership, sales, customer service and lead to better personal relationships.

Teams: They’re Everywhere, so I Better Be Good at Them!

Course Description
Life’s activities all revolve around working with others in teams – we work side by side every day with our spouse, parents and children on our family “team”; we collaborate with our “team” of kids’ teachers, coaches, and their friends’ parents; we serve in the community or at church with a team of volunteers; and we work with teams of co-workers and clients at work. Most organizations – whether business, ministry, educational or political – do the majority of their work through teams, and most teams struggle with common tendencies which dramatically affect their bottom-line. Focusing on our skills as leaders and partners on our own teams helps increase our joy, fulfillment, and productivity.
